Laura Linney is an American actress who is famous for her portrayal of powerful but fragile characters. When she was a child, spending summers in the home of her father and gaining an interest in the theater. Following her studies at Brown University for a while and then later, she attended Juilliard School to study acting. After graduating from Brown University, she began making her Broadway debut soon afterward. After two years of the time, her debut film was released and the following year, her debut on television. Since then she has been involved in numerous films, television shows and stage performances. She received many accolades during her professional career, which included the four Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. However, in spite of numerous awards, theatre has remained her passion first and foremost. She is still appearing on screen and on stage.
